The good people at the House of Representatives (ever acting in our best interest) have decided that it is perfectly constitutional to pass a bill that would require ISPs to keep records of their customer’s activity and to allow those logs to be freely accessed by law enforcement as they see fit. Should this bill pass, your internet service provider would be required to retain your name, address, phone number, credit card number, bank account number, and dynamic IP address and hand the information over to law enforcement, all without your consent.
What pisses me off even more are the idiots who complain of the loss of freedoms when taxes are raised or when industries are regulated, but are silent when real freedoms are in danger. I also find the fact that the mainstream media has failed to report this very concerning.
